This is a long-overdue home for the kind of writing that doesn’t fit in a tweet or a Teams message — notes from running engineering teams, deep dives into the systems I work on, and the occasional opinion on how software actually gets built.

For years I’ve published bits and pieces on Substack and WordPress. Those will stay where they are; new writing will land here.

The site itself is intentionally simple:
